A wood workshop seeks an experienced and suitably qualified Workshop Manager to oversee woodworking operations, manage the workshop team and ensure quality workmanship and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily woodworking activities and ensure timely completion of orders.

• Manage workshop operations, materials, machinery and equipment maintenance.

• Lead and coordinate the team, allocate duties and monitor performance.

• Ensure quality control throughout production and before delivery.

• Liaise with clients on specifications, progress and service concerns.

• Maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.

Qualifications and experience

• Technical certificate in woodworking, carpentry, joinery or a related field.

• Proven experience in the woodworking industry, including workshop supervision or management.

• Sound knowledge of woodworking machinery, materials, production methods and finishing techniques.

• Strong leadership, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
