Role Overview

Simera Transport Limited is looking for experienced Transit Drivers to join its transport and logistics team. The selected candidate will handle long-distance commercial driving routes across East and Southern Africa, maintaining high safety standards, vehicle care, and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Long-Distance Driving: Safely operate heavy-duty transit trucks on regional cross-border routes, specifically traveling to Zambia, Malawi, and Rwanda.

• Vehicle Operation: Drive manual transmission trucks (specifically FAW and HOWO models) efficiently and responsibly.

• Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to road safety regulations, border crossing procedures, and company transport policies.

• Cargo & Vehicle Care: Conduct basic vehicle inspections and ensure cargo is transported safely without damage or delays.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: O-Level Secondary Education Certificate or Vocational / Technical Driving Certificate.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in long-distance transit driving.

• Driving License & Documents: Valid driving license and a valid passport for international travel.

• Technical Skills: Experience operating FAW and HOWO manual trucks.

• Personal Attributes: High sense of responsibility, strong discipline, and commitment to road safety.
