Job Purpose :

Perform various kinds of tests over the product during the production process and after the product is finished

Accountabilities:

• Knowing the product being tested
• Conduct test according QC procedures on the product during various production stages and documents results and measurements.
• Knowing which tests can provide the information needed according to the technical data sheet
• Running the test correctly and consistently according to the IEC 60076
• Co-operate with production team to make the final product meets the standards and requirements of the customer/client
• Must have full and direct knowledge of the customer’s requirements an standards to perform the needed types of tests
• The tests must be made with respect to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 quality standards and ensure that the test labs are under safety programs
• Document test reports and daily reports which are reported to the quality manager
• May recommend changes in testing methods or equipment changes.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Electrical Engineering Degree or Equivalent
• Years of Experience: 2-5 years of experience in similar field
• Experience in Transformers is a must.
