Seeking enthusiastic teachers with a heart for missions! Now accepting applications for lower and upper primary lead teaching positions beginning August 2020. Applicants must be willing to teach on-campus in Tanzania or by distance learning using Google classroom (as deemed necessary by school management due to the coronavirus).

The school is located in the foothills of beautiful Mount Meru in bustling Arusha, the gateway city to the natural wonders of several of Tanzania’s wildlife parks and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Requirements

✓ Bachelor’s degree in education with teaching certification or licensure

✓ Servant heart, an attitude of grace, committed to supporting a loving school culture

✓ Commitment to building and supporting a multicultural community

✓ Flexible and adaptable to meeting school’s needs

✓ Willingness to embrace and learn from other cultures and faith denominations

Desired Qualifications

✓ 2 years classroom teaching experience

✓ International experience, especially in a developing country

✓ Understanding of inquiry-based teaching

✓ Creativity and solid lesson planning skills

✓ Commitment to Christian education and the challenges of Missionary and Third-Culture-Kid education

✓ Self-motivation with an ability to mentor and supervise others
