JOB VACANCIES

Muslim University of Morogoro (MUM) is a private higher learning institution owned by Muslim Development Foundation (MDF) with a vision of becoming a centre of excellence with cutting edge programs, responsive to the needs of the individual and the nation in a globalized world under the guidance of Islamic moral values.

Applications are invited to fill the following vacant positions;

Position: Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (2 Positions)

Faculty of Business Administration (Accounting)

Required Qualifications

  • Holder of a PhD degree from a recognized institution
  • Master’s degree with a GPA of 4.0 and above and an Upper Second Bachelor Degree with a GPA of 3.5 and above for classified degrees and for unclassified degree an overall performance of B+ grade or above.
  • All degrees must be obtained from recognized institutions.
  • All degrees must be directly related to Accounting (undergraduate, Masters and/or PhD.)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Accounting.
  • To supervise research, theses, and dissertation of postgraduate students in Accounting.
  • To supervise practical training of undergraduate students.
  • To conduct research, consultancy, and public services.
  • To perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time to time.

Faculty of Business Administration (Banking and Finance)

Required Qualifications

  • Holder of a PhD degree from a recognized institution plus
  • Master’s degree with a GPA of 4.0 and above and an Upper Second Bachelor Degree with a GPA of 3.5 and above for classified degrees and for unclassified degree an overall performance of B+ grade or above.
  • All degrees must be obtained from recognized institutions.
  • All degrees must be directly related to Banking (undergraduate, Masters and/or PhD.)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Banking and Finance.
  • To supervise research, theses, and dissertation of postgraduate students in Banking and Finance.
  • To supervise practical training of undergraduate students.
  • To conduct research, consultancy, and public services.
  • To perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time to time.

2. Position: Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer (3 Positions)

Faculty of Business Administration (Marketing)

Required Qualifications

  • Holder of a PhD degree from a recognized institution
  • Master’s degree with a GPA of 4.0 and above and an Upper Second Bachelor Degree with a GPA of 3.5 and above for classified degrees and for unclassified degree an overall performance of B+ grade or above.
  • All degrees must be obtained from recognized institutions.
  • All degrees must be directly related to Marketing (undergraduate, Masters and/or PhD.)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Marketing.
  • To supervise research, theses, and dissertation of postgraduate students in Marketing.
  • To supervise practical training of undergraduate students.
  • To conduct research, consultancy, and public services.
  • To perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time to time.

Position: Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer (3 Positions)

Faculty of Business Administration (Human Resources Management)

Required Qualifications

  • Holder of a PhD degree from a recognized institution
  • Master’s degree with a GPA of 4.0 and above and an Upper Second Bachelor Degree with a GPA of 3.5 and above for classified degrees and for unclassified degree an overall performance of B+ grade or above.
  • All degrees must be obtained from recognized institutions.
  • All degrees must be directly related to Human Resources Management (undergraduate, Masters and/or PhD.)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Human Resources and Management.
  • To supervise research, theses, and dissertation of postgraduate students in Human Resources and Management.
  • To supervise practical training of undergraduate students.
  • To conduct research, consultancy, and public services.
  • To perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time to time
