EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Catholic University College of Mbeya (CUCoM) situated in Mbeya, is a Constituent College of Saint Augustine University of Tanzania and a Private higher learning institution owned by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC). It is an institution that is growing fast with the vision of being a quality-based University College.

CUCoM intends to recruit qualified, competent and devoted personnel who are capable of working with virtues to achieve the goals of the institution. Currently, the College is announcing job vacancies for the following posts:

1. Tutorial Assistant in Law-2 Posts
Qualifications:

Holders of LLB with a minimum GPA of 3.8 from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;
2. Tutorial Assistant in Accounting and Finance-1 Post
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A. in Accounting and Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.8 from
Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.;

or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.

Tutorial Assistant in Journalism and Media Studies- 3

Posts Qualifications:

Holders of B.A in Journalism and Media Studies or B.A. in Mass Communication and Media Studies with a minimum GPA of 3.8 or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;
4. Tutorial Assistant in Community Development-1 Post
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A in Community Development with a minimum GPA of 3.8 or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in
Tanzania;

5. Accountant – 1 Post
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A. in Accounting and Finance or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;
CPA Holders will be given priority;

6. Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Computer Science- 2 Posts
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A. and M.A. in Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and
4.0 respectively, from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania; or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;

AND/OR
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science

Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Procurement and Supply Chain Management- 1 Post Qualifications:
Holders of B.A. and M.A. in Procurement with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and 4.0 respectively, from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.;
or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;

AND/OR
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Procurement and Supply Chain Management; Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Kiswahili -2 Posts
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A. and M.A. in Kiswahili (Isimu) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and
4.0 respectively, from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.; or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;

AND/OR

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Kiswahili (Isimu);
9. Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Social Ethics -1 Post
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy or Theology with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and 4.0 respectively, from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.;
or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;

10. Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Laws -3 Posts
Qualifications:

Holders of LLB and LLM with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and 4.0 respectively, from
Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.; or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;

AND/OR
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Laws;
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Marketing- 2 Posts Qualifications:
Holders of B.A. and M.A. in Marketing with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and 4.0, respectively, from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.; or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in
Tanzania

AND/OR

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marketing;
12. Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Economics- 3 Posts
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A. or B.Sc. and M.A. or MSc in Economics with a minimum GPA of
3.5 and 4.0, respectively, from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.; or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;

AND/OR

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics;
13. Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Literature- 1 Post
Qualifications:

Holders of B.A. and M.A. in Literature with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and 4.0 respectively, from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania.;
or any other equivalent qualifications from Higher Learning Institutions recognized in Tanzania;

AND/OR

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Literature;

14. Lecturer/ Assistant Lecturer in Accounting and Finance – 2 Posts
Qualifications:
