Job Description

VACANCY ANOUNCEMENT

Position : Senior Lecturer / Lecturer

  • Philosophy
  • Reports to the Head of Department

Duties

  • Showing academic leadership in one’s field of specialization by way of sustained research, extensive publications. Organizing seminars and symposia in addition to duties enumerated for the post of senior
  • Guiding and supervising candidate for PhD, Master Degree Bachelor degree and other advance training programme.
  • Supervising, conducting and undertaking advanced consultancy work and extensive
  • Participating in the general administration of the department;
  • Any other duties be assigned to him/her by his/her reporting officer.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have PhD in Philosophy from recognized University with Master and Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with minimum GPA OF 4.0 and 3.5
  • Candidate with knowledge in ancient languages will be an added advantage.
