POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Your role will be to drive new business development across the Kilimanjaro Region. Taking the manned Guards and other security products and services to new clients requiring annual contracts or Short time contract for the servicing and maintenance of their service in general. You will target an annual figure of service and achieved contracts, acquiring new customers looking to renew or change from the current incumbent. You will be targeting end users, large scale organisations and multiple site holders within the sector looking to use services such as fire alarms, Security alarm intruder, CCTV, access control, monitoring, and manned guarding and many other related products and services.

Within the role you will be leading the business development across the Kilimanjaro region and identify opportunities to increase profitability by the inclusion of services to further the portfolio of the potential or existing customers. You will have the support of Head Quarter and operations unity to present solutions of varying sizes to customers. Creating a professional and all-encompassing image of the company is essential.

You will be 80 kilometer from HQ in Arusha with the need to attend the key offices on a regular basis to present results and for training on the business and our products in general.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

v  Develop/Implement a strategic plan for the company’s growth within Kilimanjaro region.

v  Identify new opportunities to generate more revenue.

v  Present and negotiate potential security deals with partners from all levels of companies.

v  Drive execution of the company’s strategic plan.

v  Manage budgets and forecast revenues.

v  Provide guidance and support to team members on various tasks.

v  Ensure team members are meeting deadlines.

v  Ensure that all projects are on track to meet deadlines.

v  Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations in all areas of the company, including marketing, human resources, legal, design etc.

v  Develops and leads a training curriculum for security supervisors and staff

v  Assist in the development and oversight of all loss prevention programs.

v  Ensure a well-managed flow of information required in HQ Office

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

v  Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

v  10 years of progressive security systems and security staff management experience required.

v  10 years of investigative experience.

v  The development of “best practice” procedures.

v  Familiarity with security training programs.

v  Knowledge of CCTV and security systems.

v  Experience working with large crowds.

v  Card access and alarm systems management.

v  NYS security license required.

v  ASIS certification as a CPP or PSP preferred.

v  Must be able to obtain basic Training for Security Management level expected

v  Must be able to work weekends and evenings as required

v  Must be aware of Moshi Town at least by 30%
