Job overview

LJ Ascendant Group is looking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead and implement quality management frameworks for an ongoing airport construction project.

The QA Manager will ensure that all materials, workmanship and construction processes comply with international aviation standards and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan.
• Conduct regular quality audits, inspections and material test reviews for airfield pavements, structures and systems.
• Oversee non-conformance reporting (NCR), root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Manage third-party testing laboratories.
• Review material submittals, mix designs and mill certificates.
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants and contractors on all quality-related matters.

Qualifications and requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical field.
• Must have served as a Quality Assurance Manager on at least one airport construction project within the last 10 years.
• More than 10 years of total professional experience in quality assurance and quality control within major infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Deep familiarity with quality management systems, including ISO 9001, and aviation construction standards.
• QA/QC certifications, such as ASQ or ISO Lead Auditor, will be a strong advantage.
