PRIMARY TEACHER WITH COMPUTER SUBJECT – (1 Post)

(a) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(i) To teach, guide, support and motivate pupils and promote a positive staff culture, good practice and continuing professional development

(ii) To strengthen the long term viability of the school and its capacity to accommodate and to ensure growth

(iii) To prepare and maintain appropriate teaching and learning resources/materials and documentations (like lesson plans and scheme of work)

(iv) To take control of all electronic devices within the campus, run computer class together with internet cafe for school

(v) S/he will be required to teach computer subject (ICT) to the extent that all pupils will be able to operate computer in various programs

(vi) To perform other duties as allocated by the supervisor, including but not limited to teaching other subjects depending on career specialization.

(b) QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

(i) Willing and able to teach primary school pupils

(ii) Prior experience of teaching primary school pupils and internet experience will be an added advantage

(iii) Fluent speaking and writing English and Kiswahili, French language will be an added advantage

(iv) Holder of Degree or Diploma in Computer science, information and technology, computer engineering, Education with computer (ICT) will be an added advantage

(v) Highly committed, enthusiastic and passionate to teaching.
