The key purpose of this role is to load, unload and stack Company products in a safe and productive manner. To inspect & check outer quality of raw materials when it is delivered.
Key outputs and responsibilities:
•Comply to ABInBev Safety’s Procedures & Policies
Raw Materials handling and storage
•Interpret and implement RMS storage plan•Interpret and implement production plan•Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment •Co-ordinate autonomous maintenance and cleaning
•Comply to ABInBev Stock Count Procedures & Policies
•Ensure application of administration systems and procedures •Contribute to self and team development
•Apply problem solving and decision-making techniques and principles
•Implementation of Level 1 VPO
•Moves palletised materials from specified origin to specified destination. •Stacks and unstacks palletised material according to set standards. •Refuels and conducts daily inspections according to checklist. •Adheres to safety standards at all times. •Maintains a high standard of housekeeping – comply to 5S standards. •Cleans up breakages/Rocker bins.
•5S principles applied in the Store room and at loading bays
Handling of product/raw material
•Ensure care is taken when moving stock – no damage to the product/raw material or company property.
Key attributes and competencies:
•Ordinary communication skills. •Verbal ability. •Good eye sight in both eyes. •Numerate.•Basic human relations skills i.e. ordinary courtesy and effectiveness in dealing with others. •Concern for safety, tidiness (5s) and cleanliness. •Able to read simple instructions and standardised forms of limited content •Basic writing ability.
•Min –Matric.•Valid FLT truck drivers license
•Min – 2 to 6 weeks on the job training.
