We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee our petroleum storage, transportation, and distribution operations in Zanzibar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational activities across depots and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inventory management and operational performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost control, and business efficiency.

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer – Zanzibar

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate HSE training, emergency drills, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain HSE records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ HSE experience in the petroleum, oil & gas, energy, or logistics sector.
