Manager – Advisory & Capital Markets

Vertex International Securities Limited, a leading licensed Dealing Member of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), Investment Adviser, and Fund Manager, is seeking talented, innovative, and results-driven professionals to join its growing team in the following positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Corporate Advisory & Transaction Execution – Lead the origination and execution of corporate advisory and capital market transactions, including equity and bond issuances, private placements, M&A, valuations, and financial restructuring.
• Financial Analysis & Transaction Structuring – Develop financial models, valuations, investment and information memoranda, proposals, and presentations, while advising clients on capital raising, corporate finance, and strategic transactions.
• Business Development & Stakeholder Management – Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Transaction Management, Due Diligence & Compliance – Lead financial, commercial, and market due diligence; coordinate transaction execution with professional advisers; and ensure timely regulatory approvals and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Product Innovation & Team Leadership – Drive development of innovative capital market products, including structured products, CIS, ETFs, REITs, green finance, and Sukuk, while coaching and mentoring junior professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master’s degree in related field will be an added advantage.
• CISI qualification or coursework is highly desirable.
• Qualifications like CFA, CPA, ACCA, or other internationally recognized professionals will be an added advantage.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, securities, capital markets, or financial advisory.

Key Competencies:

Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with proven expertise in financial modelling, business valuation, corporate finance, capital markets, transaction structuring and execution.
