Job Title: HR Business Partner

Department: Human Resources and Administration
Location: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
No of direct reports: 5+
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
Minimum; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Work Experience:

5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a business partner role
Language:
Fluent in written and spoken English and Swahili

2. Job Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced company. The HRBP serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR expertise and support to drive organizational success.

3. Key Focus Areas for the People and Culture Manager Position
Align HR strategies with business goals
Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees
Implement HR programs and initiatives
Manage employee relations and conflict resolution
Drive talent management and development efforts
Oversee performance management processes
Lead organizational development initiatives
Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement
4. Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to understand and address HR needs
Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Handle employee relations issues and investigations
Lead talent acquisition and retention efforts
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to managers
Analyze HR metrics and trends to drive data-driven decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives

5. Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a business partner role
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
6. Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s
Extra working hours may be required given the nature of Company’s
Able to travel within Dar Es Salaam, other regions and countries where the company has

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Project management and organizational skills
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR tools
