HIRING: HEAD OF RETAIL AND DIGITAL BANKING l&M BANK TANZANIA LTD

Job Summary/Overview:

The Head of Retail and Digital Banking will be a vital member of our Executive Committee (EXCO) and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This senior leadership position encompasses strategic oversight of multiple business functions as below:

1. Branch Distribution overseeing the branches, agency business, workplace banking, and sales.
2. Digital lending business through strategic partnering with MNOs/Fintech etc
3. Select Banking proposition for affluent/high net-worth customers.
4. Customer Segment unit overseeing SME/ other Retail Lending products, Marketing, Customer Service & Communications
5. Liabilities & Other Digital Channels business, and
6. Bancassurance & Custodial Services businesses.

Also, the role holds the responsibility for formulating and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance customer engagement, and lead the bank’s retail & digital banking initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce/Business related field.
• Master’s Degree/MBA or Professional qualification in banking or related field is a plus.
• Have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in retail banking, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven record of successfully driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experiences, and leading cross-functional teams
