Job Description

Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) with financial support from CDC/PEPFAR is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions:

NATIONAL AIDS CONTROL PROGRAM (NACP)

Job Title: Data technician (1 Position)

Location: Dodoma

Reporting to: Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check the reporting rate summary and validate data entered from the districts into DHIS-2 for
  •  Provide feedback to Data Manager on observed outlier/discrepancy from the DHIS-2 database, in order to make follow up.

Experience and Qualifications:

 

  • Certificate in computer applications or Medical Records or related
  • Good interpersonal and leadership
  • Computer literacy will be an added
  • Three years working experience in data
  • Strong communication including proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages and computer

Age limit: 50

Terms of Employment: 7 months Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
