About the location
The position is based deep in the heart of one of the world’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, where the Big Five — lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros — roam freely across the endless and untamed landscape.
The Four Seasons Lodge is perched on a series of elevated platforms and walkways next to an animal watering hole, where guests can watch wildlife, including families of elephants, stop for their morning drink.
Located in the heart of Central Serengeti amid wide-open plains, the lodge is approximately a 45-minute drive from Seronera Airstrip, which is accessible by connecting flights from three main airports within Tanzania.
The lodge opened under the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts family in December 2012 and features:

Key responsibilities
Guest experience and brand standards
The Assistant Outlet Manager will help ensure that every guest interaction reflects Four Seasons’ luxury hospitality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring service delivery reflects the Four Seasons philosophy of personalized, intuitive, and anticipatory service
- Maintaining a visible floor presence during peak periods, including game drive returns, bush dinners, and high-occupancy periods
- Engaging with guests proactively and resolving concerns immediately
- Monitoring and acting on guest feedback from Qualtrics, LQA, and direct feedback
- Ensuring VIP guests, repeat guests, and special occasions are executed flawlessly
Operational leadership
The Assistant Outlet Manager will support the smooth running of daily restaurant operations and ensure that service standards are consistently maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts
- Conducting pre-service briefings and communicating daily highlights, including VIPs, menu changes, and occupancy
- Ensuring the correct sequence of service and timing standards

The Assistant Outlet Manager will support revenue performance and cost control while promoting a strong upselling culture.

- Monitoring daily revenue and void reports
- Ensuring proper posting in Micros and Opera
- Supporting cost control initiatives, including food cost and beverage cost
- Driving an upselling culture for premium wines, cocktails, and bush experiences

Team leadership and development
The Assistant Outlet Manager will help guide and develop the outlet team to deliver consistent service excellence.
