Africa Relief and Community Development Tanzania (ARCD Tanzania) is inviting applications from qualified, motivated, and committed individuals to fill the following positions:

Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and reconciliations.
• Process payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Social Worker

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of community development and humanitarian programs.
• Conduct community outreach, assessments, and beneficiary engagement activities.
• Prepare activity reports and maintain accurate program records.
• Assist in case management, referrals, and follow-up of beneficiaries where applicable.
• Support awareness campaigns, training sessions, and community mobilization activities.
• Coordinate with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Perform other program-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, Development Studies, Psychology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants with 0–3 years of relevant experience may apply.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
