Position: Storeperson

Location: Geita Gold Mine, Geita

Job type Full-time Job

Position Purpose: The Storeperson is to be an integral part of the warehousing function, responsible for the operation of an efficient, safe, and secure warehouse facility. The role ensures a high level of material availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurate issuing and recording of all warehouse transactions.
• Conduct stocktakes as directed, ensuring a high-count accuracy.
• Reporting of all stock discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse and external storage areas.
• Compliance with AUMS Geofields (T) Limited company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist in maintaining the security of materials within the warehouse and external storage areas.
• Other duties as directed.

Essential Requirements:

• Current Tanzanian driver’s license (Manual).
• Exposure to working in a warehouse environment in the mining or heavy earthmoving industry.
• Completion of secondary school.
• Able to speak and write in Swahili and English.
• Communication skills.
• Able to work a day and night shift roster.
