Job Summary

The Office Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within the health center. As this is a newly established facility, the role requires attention to detail, adherence to healthcare cleaning standards, and a commitment to infection prevention and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize waiting areas, consultation rooms, treatment rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors regularly
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, desks, counters, medical equipment surfaces, light switches, etc.)
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies (soap, tissue, paper towels)
• Empty waste bins and dispose of general and medical waste according to health and safety regulations
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues
• Follow infection control procedures and health center hygiene protocols
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely and used appropriately
• Assist with initial deep cleaning and setup support for the new facility

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
• Knowledge of basic infection control and sanitation practices
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment

Working Conditions

• May require early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and medical waste (with proper protective equipment provided)
