Job Advertisement: GPS Tracking Interns (2 Positions)

Purpose of the Role

TJL Co. Ltd is seeking two (2) Interns to support our GPS tracking and fleet monitoring operations. The role is part of our initiative to improve operational efficiency, reduce truck idle time, and strengthen discipline and accountability across the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor trucks daily using the GPS tracking system
• Track truck movement, stoppages, delays, and route deviations
• Generate daily GPS movement and idle-time reports
• Flag abnormal stoppages, overspeeding, route deviation, and long idle time
• Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, and Workshop teams on GPS-related issues
• Maintain accurate GPS logs and summaries for management review
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce turnaround time (TAT)

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s student/graduate in: ICT, Logistics & Transport Management, Statistics, Engineering, Business / Operations Management.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, reporting)
• Ability to work with data and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail and discipline
• Willingness to work extended hours when required
• High integrity and confidentiality

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience with GPS systems or fleet management software
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Interest in logistics, transport, or operations
