o Defend and grow business with the 4 existing banks and extend to 6 more banks.
o Drive uptake of Cellulant banks in Tanzania to the UAR (Usage, Activation & Retention)
o Introduction of value added services based on Cellulant banking strategic initiatives.
o Ensure focus on business value and delivery of the project within tight deadlines and planned
o Ensure high value convertible opportunities are closed – clarity around -what to focus on, what to qualify
o Build and maintain strong and trustworthy relationships with key customer at from C-level
(CIO, CFO) to 2 nd and 3 rd management level (e.g. Channel manager; Product manager) to
establish Cellulant as the partner of choice for mobile commerce.
o Evaluate the initial realization of the value for money objective, for both the Bank and
Cellulant that motivated entering in to the solution and commercial agreement. This
evaluation is to be performed during the first three months, and the three months after that, to
include the following:
– Monitoring the pace of conversion of mobile banking consumers will attain
40% and above within the first 3 months.
– Evaluate whether all qualified merchants have been set up and are generating
the expected level of payment transactions compared to the mobile banking
– Evaluate whether the budgeted revenues are realistic and commensurate with
the potential for the bank.
– Evaluate whether service levels are in line with contracted SLAs.
o Revenue protection: Stay alert to potential threats to Cellulant’s business with a bank
customer – for example, encroachment by competition via new products, innovations and
substitutes – with the potential to undermine Cellulant’s business relationship with the client.
o Keep abreast of general innovations and the evolving business needs of the bank in the
digital banking space and also of Cellulant’s evolving products and services and, in line with
Cellulant’s strategy, instigate the development of substantial revenue opportunities with the
bank that are aligned to the matching Cellulant’s products and services of the day, or to
Cellulant’s potential capabilities.
o Bring in market insights and key customers long term needs regarding m- commerce
o Develop and drive digital banking strategy with your cluster of banks
o Drive and accountable for the core 3 team in the sales process. Commercial and overall
responsible for quality of solution and fulfillment of projects.
o On time, detailed and actionable reporting to facilitate: –
– Timely decision making to prevent encroachment by competition via new
products, innovations and substitutes – with the potential to undermine
Cellulant’s business relationship with the client.
– Understand profitability of the business Unit.
