Job Summary

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage all cash transactions accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle payments securely, and maintain a neat, professional appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• • Greet customers warmly and process payments (cash, card, or mobile money) accurately.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier desk or counter.
  • Answer customer inquiries politely and provide information on products/services.
  • Reconcile daily sales reports and hand over cash securely as per company procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies, cash handling procedures, and security standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cashier, Teller, or in a customer-facing role is an added advantage.
• Basic math and computer skills with attention to detail.
• Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle cash responsibly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English (preferred as per client).
• Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
